When you ask Nova a question that involves a lot of data, it can generate a report you can download or open in your browser — rather than just displaying the numbers in the chat. This is useful when you want to share data with your team, import it into a spreadsheet, or review a fuller picture than a chat response can show.

Requesting a report

Ask Nova directly:
  • “Can you export this as a CSV?”
  • “Generate a report of all registrations in the past 12 months.”
  • “Give me a downloadable breakdown of revenue by event.”
When Nova generates a file, a report card appears in the chat with a download link or a button to open the report in your browser.

Report card details

The report card shows:
  • The file name and format.
  • When the report was generated.
  • An expiry date — reports are available for a limited time after generation. Download or open the report before it expires; after that, you can ask Nova to generate a fresh one.

Interactive HTML reports

Some reports open as an interactive page in your browser rather than a file you download. These work the same way — Nova provides a link in the chat, and the report is available until its expiry date.
