Let’s Do This is available in multiple languages. Participants see the platform — including your event page, the checkout, and their confirmation emails — in their own language automatically, without you setting anything up. On top of that, you can add your own translations of the content you write (your event title, ticket names, and booking form questions) so those appear in a participant’s language too. There is nothing to switch on. Language support works for every event. The two things worth understanding are how a participant’s language gets chosen, and how to translate the specific text you’ve written yourself.
Language is decided per participant, not per event. There is no single “default language” you set for an event — each participant sees the platform in the language they have chosen or that their browser requests.

Languages we support

The platform interface — buttons, form labels, dates, validation messages, and the checkout flow — is translated into the following languages:

How a participant’s language is chosen

You don’t choose a language for your participants — each participant gets one of two ways to land on the right one:
  • Automatic detection. When someone opens your event page or checkout, the platform reads the language preference their browser sends and matches it to a supported language. If there’s no match, it falls back to English (UK).
  • Manual selection. A participant can change their language at any time using the region and language selector in the page footer. The option is titled Change your Region or Language and lets them pick from the supported languages. Their choice is remembered as they move through the site, including checkout.
The language a participant is viewing in when they complete checkout is also used for their confirmation and other booking emails when that email translation exists. Polish booking emails currently fall back to English (UK).

Translating your event content

The interface is translated for you, but the text you write yourself — your event title, ticket names, and booking form questions — is not translated automatically. To have that text appear in a participant’s language, add your own translation of it. Fields that support translation include:
  • Your event title
  • Your ticket titles
  • Booking form field names, descriptions, and placeholder text, along with any custom section headings on your forms
1

Open the field you want to translate

On the event setup screen, go to the field — for example a ticket title or a booking form question — and find its language option.
2

Choose a language

Select the language you want to add a version for from the list of supported languages.
3

Enter your translated text

Type the version of the text for that language. Participants viewing in that language will see your translation; everyone else continues to see the text you originally wrote.
You only need to add translations for the languages you want to support directly. Any language you don’t add a translation for falls back to the original text you wrote.

What participants see in their language

Once a participant has a language set — by detection or by choosing one — that language is applied across their whole experience:
  • Your event page — the interface, plus any title and content you’ve translated.
  • The checkout — form labels, instructions, validation messages, and dates, all formatted for their language. Your translated ticket names and booking form questions appear here too.
  • Booking emails — confirmation emails and other booking-related emails (such as waitlist acceptances) are sent in the language the participant used at checkout, with dates formatted to match. Note that email translations are available for all supported languages except Polish — Polish participants will receive booking emails in English (UK).

What is not translated automatically

The platform interface is translated for you, but free-text content you write is only translated where you provide the translation yourself. If you haven’t added a translation for a particular field in a particular language, participants viewing in that language see the original text you wrote. There is also no event-level language setting. You can’t force an event to always display in one language, and you can’t set a default language that overrides each participant’s own choice. Language always follows the individual participant. If a participant tells you the site or their confirmation email came through in the wrong language, ask them to open the Change your Region or Language option in the footer and select the language they want — their choice is remembered from that point on.
