The platform uses a single image for both mobile and desktop. The image is
cropped depending on the viewer’s screen size — keep key content (text, logos,
faces) centered and well clear of the edges.
File requirements
These limits apply to all images on the platform, unless a specific section below notes otherwise.Event hero image
The hero image appears at the top of your event’s public page and in booking confirmation emails.
The image is cropped differently across screen sizes. Keep your key subjects and any text centered — anything near the edges may be cut off on some devices.
Event logo
The event logo appears on your event page alongside the event name.Organizer logo
Your organization’s logo is configured during account setup and appears on event pages and throughout the registration flow.
The platform validates the aspect ratio on upload. Images that are significantly off-square may appear letterboxed.
Bundle image
The bundle image appears on upsell cards shown to participants during checkout.
One image is used across mobile and desktop. Content outside the central 1400 × 415 px area may be cropped on smaller screens. Keep all text, logos, and key visuals within that central strip.
Add-on product image
Add-on (merch) product photos appear as thumbnails on the Add-ons step in checkout, and in a larger view when a participant opens a product for more detail.
The thumbnail list crops to a wider box, while the full-size product view crops to a square — keep your subject and any text centered with margin on all sides so nothing important is cut off in either view. The platform automatically compresses and optimizes the image for web display, so you don’t need to resize or convert the file yourself before uploading.
Campaign emails
Images used in the Advanced Email Builder for marketing campaigns have their own size guidance and a lower file-size limit.Tips for getting images right
- Keep text and logos away from the edges. Images crop differently on different screen sizes — anything important should sit well inside the center.
- Use PNG for graphics that contain text or logos (sharper edges at any size). Use JPEG for photographs.
- Compress before uploading. Export at 72 dpi for web use and compress the file to stay under the size limit.
- Check the aspect ratio before uploading. An off-ratio image will trigger a warning in the dashboard and may appear letterboxed.
- In emails, prefer live text over text in images. Baked-in text can be too small to read on mobile and is not picked up by screen readers or spam filters.
