# Shareable Reports

> Give external viewers a live, read-only link to a saved report — protected by an access pin.

<Info>
  You can only create a share link for a **saved custom report**. If you have
  not yet saved the report as a custom report, or if you have unsaved changes,
  the share option will not be available. Save or save-update the report first,
  then share it.
</Info>

Shareable reports let you give someone outside your team — a sponsor, a charity partner, or a colleague without a dashboard login — a live view of a saved report. Each share link comes with an **access pin**. The person you share with needs both the link and the pin to open the report.

The report always shows current data, not a snapshot from when you created the link. You can create multiple share links for the same report — one per person or audience — and revoke any of them individually without affecting the others.

## Creating a share link

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open a saved custom report">
    Go to the **Custom Reports** tab in **Reports** and click the custom report you want to share. The report opens with your saved columns and filters applied.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Open the share options">
    Click the share button on the report. The share modal opens, showing any links you have already created for this report.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Create a new link">
    Click to create a new link. You are prompted to enter a name — this is for your reference only, to help you tell links apart (for example, the name of the person or team you're sharing with). Enter a name and confirm.

    The new link and its access pin appear in the list.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Copy and send the details">
    Click **Copy details** to copy both the link and the access pin to your clipboard in a ready-to-send format. Paste and send them to the recipient.

    The recipient needs **both** the link and the access pin. The pin protects the report — the URL alone is not enough to open it.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## What the recipient sees

The share link opens the report in a read-only view. The recipient can see the rows and columns as you configured them in the saved report. They can export the data as a CSV, but they cannot change filters, add or remove columns, edit the report, or access any other part of the dashboard.

Because the report is live, the data updates as new registrations, transactions, or other activity comes in. You do not need to send a fresh link each time the data changes.

## Revoking access

To revoke access for a specific recipient, open the share modal on the report, find their link in the list, and click **Delete**. The link stops working immediately. Any other share links you have created for the same report are not affected.

Deleting a share link does not affect the report itself or its data.
