# Financial Reporting

> Revenue and payment reports covering transactions, payouts, line-item breakdowns, and invoices.

## Overview

Financial reports give you a detailed view of the money flowing through your
events — every payment taken, every payout sent, and a granular breakdown of
how revenue is split. They are available to users with **financials access** on
the organizer account.

All financial reports are found in the **Reports** area of your organizer
dashboard, tagged with the **Financials** category badge.

## Access

Financial reports — **Line Items**, **Transactions**, **Payouts**, **VAT
Invoices**, and **Portfolio Performance** — are only visible to account users
who have been granted the financials read permission. If you cannot see these
reports, ask your account owner to update your access.

## The financial reports

### Transactions

The **Transactions** report shows every payment event against your account: a
purchase, an installment, a refund. Each row includes:

* The transaction date and payment status.
* The booker name and payment reference.
* The total amount charged, any discounts or credits applied, and the net
  amount paid.
* How the amount splits between the organizer and Let's Do This.
* The associated payout ID, so you can trace a transaction to a specific
  payout.

Use Transactions to investigate a specific payment, reconcile refunds, or audit
a date range of activity.

### Line Items

The **Line Items** report breaks revenue down to the individual item level —
one row per ticket, add-on, fee, or discount line. Each row shows:

* The line item type and name.
* The total amount, the organizer share, the Let's Do This share, and the
  currency.

Use Line Items to understand exactly what you earned from each component of a
booking — helpful for accounting exports and financial reconciliation.

### Payouts

The **Payouts** report lists every payout sent to your account. Each row
shows:

* The payout ID and currency.
* The gross amount before deductions.
* Any discount amounts and credit amounts applied.
* The final amount paid to you and the Let's Do This fee.

Use Payouts to reconcile bank deposits against your event revenue.

### VAT Invoices

The **VAT Invoices** report shows monthly invoices for the Let's Do This
platform fee. Each row covers one billing month and shows:

* The LDT fee amount excluding tax.
* The tax amount applied to the fee.
* The total LDT fee amount including tax.

Use VAT Invoices to retrieve the documentation you need for tax purposes.

### Portfolio Performance

The **Portfolio Performance** report summarizes ticket sales across your entire
portfolio. You can view sales:

* **By event** — total ticket count and revenue per event occurrence.
* **By day** — ticket count and revenue for each day.
* **By month** — ticket count and revenue for each calendar month.

Use Portfolio Performance to spot sales trends, compare event performance, and
track revenue over time.

## Filtering and exporting

Every financial report supports column selection, filters (date range, status,
currency, and more), CSV export, and saving as a Custom Report. The export
respects any filters and column selections you have applied.

<Tip>
To trace a specific booking to a payout: open **Transactions**, filter by
booker name or payment reference, and note the **Payout ID**. Then open
**Payouts** and filter by that ID.
</Tip>

<Note>
**Transactions vs. Line Items:** Transactions shows one row per payment event
  — a purchase, installment, or refund — with totals. Line Items breaks each
transaction into individual rows per ticket, add-on, or fee. Use Transactions
for payment-level reconciliation and Line Items for item-level accounting.
