# Sharing a Nova conversation

> Share a copy of a Nova conversation with others in your organization.

After a conversation with Nova, you can share it with anyone in your
organization. The recipient sees your conversation history and can ask their own
follow-up questions — those questions stay separate from your original chat, so
nothing they ask appears in your conversation.

Only users who belong to your organization can open a shared conversation link.

## Sharing a conversation

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open the share dialog">
    In the Nova header, click the **Share** icon. The share icon is only visible
    once the conversation has at least one message and Nova has finished
    responding.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Copy the link">
    Click **Copy share link**. The link is copied to your clipboard and a
    confirmation appears.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Send the link">
    Paste the link and send it to the recipient. Anyone without access to your
    organization will not be able to view it.
  </Step>
</Steps>

<Tip>
  Before sharing, use the star icon to highlight the most useful messages in the
  conversation — it makes it easier for recipients to spot the key points.
</Tip>

## What recipients see

When someone opens a shared link, they can scroll through the full conversation
history. They can ask their own follow-up questions, which branch off into a
separate thread — their messages and Nova's replies appear only in their copy,
not in yours.

## Requesting access to Nova

If you receive a shared conversation link but don't have Nova access on your
account yet, you'll see a prompt at the bottom of the conversation. Click
**Request access to Nova** to send a request. Once it's approved, you'll be able
to start your own conversations.
